I uploaded a screenshot of my desktop for your viewing pleasure, I have been playing around with theme's and doc skins. The modz I have been using is the stuff found at SwizCore and have found most of the skins fairly usable and nice looking so I recommend that site if your just starting out.
Now I did have some issues at first, I lost some menu controls in my Desktop Background prefPane... but they have since magically gone away. So if you have problems don't cry to me :)
In the end I'll probably switch back to the default aqua look because I just like it :)
Please Note that I do have the customary IRC shot in the desktop screen capture, if you ever make a screenshot of your desktop it seems it is a must have! :)
