Apple, you watching this??? The Looking Glass 3D Desktop from Sun! It appears to be very fluent [in the WMV] and shouldn't be ignored or passed off as cool but unuseful, because it would be more than useful... Just like Expose is now, think of it as Expose Extreme (I should trademark that before Apple does:)) I think years and years ago Microsoft was thinking of doing a similar thing but the graphic hardware wasn't there, but it is now.
On a side note, the Desktop environment is 100% Java.
