Scoble and Dave have some good comments on format vs what users want. Or rather Developers vs Users. I couldn't agree more with one exception to one of Dave's comments: "We live in god's world", I rather think we live in Userland ;)
Without users you don't have a product, so giving users what they want is key. That may sound obvious but so many companies out there dont think users rule the land, and because of that I think they are destined to fail. Good developers are users. You can quote me on that.
