Today Apple pleased us all by releasing for $499 ($599 for faster model) the Mac Mini. I'm in love! its as fast as my new iBook is, and would look great sitting on a desk. We have a G5 so maybe it would look good in the kitchen? :)
Also Apple released for those that like flash players over hard driver players for price or some other reason, they have the iPod Shuffle which comes in a 512MB and 1GB versions for 99$ and 149$ respectfully. This should also be better for those that run, as it only weighs 1 ounce, and no moving parts so its impossible to have your songs skip in mid stride.
