Kevin Gossett wrote about why he hates David Winer, and I just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel. First let me quote some of what he said:
I hate Dave Winer because he's in Seattle and I'm not. Even the Seattle Times noticed. Well, they noticed he's there, not that I'm not.
I really love that place. Now, keep in mind, I've only spent a week in that beautifully green, beautifully rainy place, where you can stand on a street (just about any street) and by turning 360 degrees, spot no less than four Starbucks, two Seattle's Bests and a Tully's.
This is how I feel when I read about San Francisco. I lived there for about 6 months on contract work, and loved the place to pieces. I've "joked" with Shannon asking her to move there with me... saying that I could find Tech work their fairly easily as its "Silicon Valley" and all, but she just laughs not taking me all that seriously.
I guess Kevin we just have to dream our little dream and stay right where we are... for now :)
