Liberal Gary Carr won in the Halton region, as the Liberals look like they are about to win a minority government. Even though Gary did not reply to my emails and did not get my vote, I suppose with his PC background he will bring something to this Liberal government that was not there previously.
Green Party member Frank Marchetti that did so well in my questionnaire did pretty well with over 5% of the vote here in halton. For a 'new' party such as the green party to do as well as they have, without even participating in the leaders debate or getting much support from the media.
The balance of power now sits with the NDP, I hope they keep the Liberal party honest, if not I bet we will be back on the campaign trail in a few months time.
A new Canada starts tomorrow, its exciting to see how things will shape up!
