'As The Apple Turns' brings us a new episode today focusing on Apple's efforts to appease us Canadians with its very own Apple Store and iTMS.
They state that either Yorkdale and Eaton Centre were to get a store before Tokyo did, but that did not happen for some unknown reason. AtAT got a leaked memo that may shed some light on things though:
"sources close to the company" recently forwarded us: a memo from Steve Jobs addressed to Tim Cook (executive veep for Worldwide Sales and Operations) and Ron Johnson (senior veep for Retail), dated April 16th of 2003, that said "Some [expletive deleted] with an Ontario plate just cut me off on the highway-- take care of it." Whaddaya think? Could it somehow be related?
