Gmail Bug Or Feature?

Gmail (Google's stab at webmail) is reporting to customers that they have 1,000,000 MB available to them to use. Original reports stated that Gmail was to offer what we originally thought was a lot -- 1,000 MB -- of storage.

Gmail is still beta, and invite only (BTW: that reminds me, where is my invite?) and it only stands to reason that either they are testing larger sizes or its a bug.
