Today is a sad day in gaming history... when Electronic Arts purchased Origin, none of my friends and I thought it was a good idea. We loved Origin, they made some of the best games like Wing Commander, Strike Commander, Ultima, just to name a few. Well today it is being heavily rumored that Electronic Arts is shutting down the Origin studios. I cant say that I blame EA at this point, I don't think anything good has come out of Origin in quite some time, most of the good talent at Origin left after less than 2 years of the merger.
